Amy Shark returned to Newcastle last night, performing at Newcastle’s Civic Theatre.
A full house was warmed up with the vocal performance of Amélie Farren Music, before Amy joined the stage around 8:30 pm.
Stripped back fan favorites, and memorable moments for fans followed, with one young lady, given the opportunity to join Amy on-stage as her videographer.
Amy offered up a on-stage selfie with the young fan!
The show briefly paused, as Amy moved off-mic, returning she explained the venue was concerned about photography.
“That’s bullshit,” said Amy;
”I’m the boss.”
Both levels of the theatre roared with applause.
Stories ranged from Amy’s colourful recount of her rental car when meeting Ed Sheeran, to uninvited collaboration advice she’d been given at bbq’s.
The setlist pulled from Sunday Sadness, and finished with fan favorites.
Amy has also returned as the 2025 judge on Australian Idol, alongside Kyle Sandilands, Marcia Hines and hosts Scott Tweedie and Ricki-Lee Coulter, available to watch now via Seven and 7Plus.
