Pictured below, ‘Starship,’ or better known as Gravitron, a roughly 45 person ride with a theoretical capacity of 1000 riders per hour. Riders expertience roughly three time normal gravity, as they are pushed against the walls of the ride by its rotation.

It’s beleived the first versiom of this ride apepared at a New Jersey amusement park Morey’s Piers in the early 80s. It operates under several different names including ‘Gravirton, Starship, Area 51.’
Inside
Riders stand against a padded wall, with their feet planted firmly on the floor, as the ride reaches speed of 24 RPM, the force generated by the centrifugal force causes the padded beds to raise inside the ride. The operator also resides inside the ride, in the core, spinning with the guests onboard the ride.
