Brave Browser
Brave is a free web browser, based on Chromium, which is privacy focused, including by blocking ads from webpages. A win for privacy, and page load speed as the cotnetnt to be loaded is reduced.
Block Using Pi Hole
This is most agressive option, and can extend beyond just your pc and phone, because Pi Hole takes over at a network dns level, you can block ads on devices where you wouldn’t be able to install an exention, like smart tvs, and potentially limit the analyitcal collection on some iOT devices.
Pi hole runs on Linux, and acts as a DNS resolver, once you change your modems settings to use its dns, you are set!
