Koala
The Australian Koala, – he/she can sleep for 18 hours a day, and lives off a diet of eucalyptus leaves. They have a lifespan of 13-18 years.
One real threat to the species is chlamydia.
Koala populations have been declining in Australia and in 2022 were recognised officially as endangered.
