Situated above the town of Goulburn, atop Rocky Hill, the 1925 built tower shines a light above the towns 25,000+ residents at night.
The 20 meter high structure offers panoramic views of Goulburn and the surrounding region.
The memorial features a spot light which shines across the town at night, with some locals referring to this as ‘Goulburn’s Lighthouse.’
The original museum opened in 1927 in the base of the tower, but was moved to a nearby cottage in the late 90s.
A brand new state-of-the-art faciality opened to house the collection in 2020.
Visiting hours at time of publish are 10-4pm weekdays, and weekends, check local council website for more up-to-date information.
